Putting together the Parisian Restaurant

We have finally started putting together the Parisian Restaurant, which I have decide to make Riley build at least 60% of it. She is doing really well for this being an Expert Set! Plus I noticed her patience has increased! She is going to need it with this set!

What we have done so far. I never knew the floor said Chez which is the name of the Restaurant, Chez Albert).

It's really going to be done soon!!!!!

As I was about to order my stickers, which is the last thing on my to do list for the MOC. I stopped and wanted to make this post. I guess it's because we have been working on this thing for almost 6 months now, and I'm shocked it's really going to be finished! I think the last time the stickers only took a week and a half, maybe less! The stickers and a few Brick Link orders are the only things that stand in our way. As Riley says "YESSS". Here is an order we got today...

Over one hundred dark blue tiles to the left, and miscellaneous parts to the right.

Late night Blog (Order 3 of 3)

Catching up around the house has me working on my MOC late at night. It was lonely in the LEGO room without Riley. Tying to push forward to meet my own deadline, which we will be close to it, maybe a few days late. I will soon be putting in my last few orders, FINALLY! Here is my latest order...

I have been away from the Blog due to the Flu and several other house and family emergencies. When all that was over I took the remaining time to spend with friends and family, because that is what it is all about! Now that Christmas is over, I should have more time to Blog. Placing and Receiving more Orders...(Order 2 of 3)

I have place two Brick Link orders today and will probably place two more. This push will hopefully get me close to finished. In the mean time we will share this order, that we actually got the other day.

Congratulations to MaMa for finishing nursing school, for now. (MaMa plans to keep furthering her education) It was a long journey, but we always had faith in her! We are so proud of her that we wanted to make special mention of her accomplishment! We even bought some special LEGO!!

I placed 3 orders this past weekend and of course my order from Need a brick or 2 arrived first.
I have about 3 more orders to go I'm trying to be real thorough, so three is all I have to order. Still trying to decide if I will order custom stickers. Most exciting news is that even if we have a few shipping delays we will still be done by the end of December of the first week of January. Here is our latest haul....

I feel a ROOF coming on!

As promised I wanted to show everyone the roof (sorry for the Tag-Team reference in the title, showing my age I guess,lol). This is actually the first real look at our MOC. Don't get to excited though, the only thing real impressive is the size.

That's one big roof. I used Riley's and my SigFig. so you can have a scale on how big it is.

Definitely need a few more grey parts.

Pretty sturdy so far.

Another Brick Link order... Roof Parts!!!

I scream Roof Parts, because once you are working on a roof you know you are close to being done! Since this is a bigger MOC, this period will take a bit longer. I am really hopeful to make the end of the year deadline. It will be close though! Here are some pictures of the order.

Our Custom Tiles Have Arrived!!!!

One thing I am going to use in my next MOC is custom tiles. Today we got our order from a site called MINIFIGS.ME. The first thing when you see when you go to there website is a warning about slow shipping time due to the holidays. However our order was shipped quickly, even for being from overseas. I would rate their shipping an A. From what I have seen there are only a few good custom LEGO websites, that use "pad printing" which is a very good way to make custom tiles. They are expensive, but when you want to make something that stands out, this is the way to go. Have a look.....

I have been looking at their website for a while, it was nice to see them in front of me.

Ok so the babies and sonogram are not part of our new MOC, everything else is though.

Any day you get LEGO is a good day! The letter was cute!

Finished the Falcon

We finished the Millennium Falcon last week I was just a little to busy to Blog about it. I should be blogging all this week. As we received a Brick Link order, plus one of our custom orders that looks real cool! Here is the pictures of the finished Falcon. Hopefully we will soon do a video review of this awesome ship!

Building the Falcon. Part 1

We have finally started to build the Millennium Falcon, which might be the biggest set I have ever built. It is defiantly Riley's biggest set so far. Shouldn't take us too long to build though. Although we haven't made much progress today, Riley really wanted just to get the Mini Figures out, lol!

Riley's Second Birthday Build...Sunshine Ranch

Building playing and repeat! We have been having a lot of fun lately, building and playing. Since we are still working on the Millennium Falcon we can't share that yet.
