What the heck is that?

To quote Batman from the LEGO Movie "what the heck is that"? Although I want to keep this blog more about MOC building and not to much about LEGO News, but I had to share this picture of MAYBE one the new LEGO Movie sets. How cool does this multi-person built sub from the movie look? Here is the pic
We want this set!

More MOC parts: Pushing through!

More dark blueish grey parts!
There comes a time, at least for me, when the MOC you are building becomes boring! We are at that point now, when it seems that you are almost done and all you have to do is the roof and fine details. Seems harmless, however this took over 3 months on my last Subway MOC. I don't want that to happen with this one, so we are trying to push through! New parts always create excitement, without going over budget, we are going to try to keep new parts coming in. Which will lead to the MOC being finished! Thanks to MagicCityBricks for this order!

Engrossed in our next MOC!

Sorry we haven't been blogging that much, but we have been engrossed in building our newest MOC! It's a pretty ambitious build for only our second MOC. It was an idea that turned from something small to something big. I'm still trying to keep it a secret until it's done. So that is why the photos are from so far away. We have a big BrickLink order coming this week. We hope to be done with this Moc by the end of this month! But only time will tell!

Some what of a sneak preview, can you tell what it is?

Look how much bigger it is than our Subway, only about  80% done.

More parts for our next MOC!

We received a big package (very promptly I may add) from Grandmas Attic, a BrickLink store of course.
We are at about 50% of our parts required for our next MOC. I'm hoping to release it in one or two months from now. Let's keep our figures crossed!
That's one big bag of LEGO!

I put about 85% percent of these in today and then we hit Riley's nap time!

LEGO Cotton Candy

Yea I didn't think this was possible either. Granted it's not 100% LEGO parts, but we did get the idea from a LEGO YouTube video. It was a video with Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker celebrating Fathers' Day. It was Riley's idea all we needed was a small piece of pink colored cotton.
YUMMY!
Just use a pink round tile to attach it and twist!
