More Series 12 MiniFigs....
Knowing we were headed up to Target, we checked out our Minifigure checklist. Riley wanted the Fairytale Princess, I wanted the Video Game player. I would have settled for the Spooky Girl or Rock Star. No need to settle, I found both again under 2 minutes.
One of Riley's favorites already. |
Smooches! |
This gut is cool, I really like the arms! |
How does he jam out on the thumbsticks, with no thumbs? |
Video game guy has found a spot in our city. |

Our new Star Wars MiniFigs!
I charged the camera last night. I thought I would share our two new Star Wars MiniFigs! I said I would try to buy one with each order, this one was no different. Although to save some cash and focus on MOC parts, the next two orders will not have any MiniFigs. Plus it's Riley's and my birthday in November. I know for a fact she will be getting a lot of MiniFigs from me and I'm sure from other people as well. So on the day to day there will not be too many MiniFigs, but on the upside there will be a huge amount at once. So without further ado, our new MiniFigs....

More Parts!!!
Hopefully this will be the title of many more blog posts, as we aggressively buy parts. We also hope to be done with this MOC at the end of the year. I really think we can hit this deadline, due to an increase to our budget. These parts lasted a night, as in I put them were they need to go on our MOC. After work, Riley and I spent almost the whole evening in the LEGO room. We only braked for dinner and a walk. My camera batteries ran out, so sorry that I only took one picture.
We LOVE when there is LEGO in the mail! |

When DaDa buys Minifigs...
Last week MaMa went out to the store and she was nice enough to pick us up a MiniFig. However MaMa doesn't really feel around. So you get what you get. (We got the Swashbuckler) When DaDa goes to the store I do a little more feeling around. I picked these two out in less than 2 minutes.
The Pizza guy and the Pig. Both at the top of our list! |

Problem solving....late in the game.
Well apparently I don't know my LEGO pieces as good as I thought. I'm putting in three garages in my new MOC. I swore there was a 1x2 curved gliding part for a garage. which I could use this to shorten my overhead parts that hold the garage door, when it is up. No, the only part you can use for this is a 1x14 piece. Which will run deeper in my MOC creating, less space basically. So we are going to order the part and try it see what it looks like. Might not be that big of a deal.
Garage doors! Feels real good to say this means we are close to done. When you here me talk about the roof, well that's the last thing I will do. Well here is the first small hint, some shots of the tow-motor. This is a MOC inside a MOC. Not to sure if I will stay with this design, I will have to order and attach the fork lift part and see what it looks like. Also not to sure once it is attached if it will fit through the garage.
Of course it needs some more yellow plates. |
The back |
This would look better if I made the overhead carriage. |

Now that's what I call Fast Shipping!!!
We got our big order in, which might be the last big order for this MOC. Most other orders will be specialized pieces and tiles. Thanks to Mark at BuddysBrick, I guess he also has a website here. I placed my order Saturday night, he was quick to invoice, I paid Sunday night, got my order today, Wednesday. So I love giving a little free advertising to people who come through like this. We still have a long way to go, but we are making a lot of progress. Here are some pics....
Now that's a big sack o LEGO! |
Like I said before we are collecting Star Wars, Luke from Tatooine. |
Everything else! |

Still buying Bricks!!!! Part 2
We are picking up speed trying to finish our secret MOC by the end of the year. Although we might start leaking details about it, so it won't be much of a secret soon. Due to a slightly bigger budget we are buying a lot more for it. However I am a stickler for detail and will not release the final product until I am very satisfied and there is a lot more I want to add. I have also made a few creative strides finishing a couple rooms that really didn't have much in them. Here is some pics from our most recent Brick Link order. Thanks to Top Bricks for the fast delivery!
Oh yea, we are also starting to collect LEGO Star Wars minifigs. |
Pumpkins, it is fall after all. |

Still buying BRICKS!!!
It's been a while since I have blogged. This doesn't mean we are not
working on our MOC. We have received some orders and we are placing a
big one this weekend!
Less dark blue grey parts and more detailed parts. |
Most parts are for our MOC, but the chickens are just for FUN! |
The red dollies are definitely for our MOC! |
